Beautifully rural, on the island of Walcheren, just outside the town of Veere, is our farmhouse. A place of peace & space to really get away from it all. Close to the beaches, Lake Veere, Middelburg and the cozy Domburg!

The old 1885 Zeeland farmhouse was expertly renovated by us. That was quite a job that took several years 🙂
Our B&B is extremely suitable for families with children. In the renovation we used many authentic materials. Where goats were once milked and horses fed, spacious rooms have now been created.

Our family
We are Maarten and Lydia Timmerman. Together with our four daughters and son we enjoy the outdoor life in Veere. We can greatly enjoy the sun, being outside and the beautiful nature with its beaches near our house. In our large garden we take care of deer, sheep, cats and chickens. Although we grew up in the middle of the country, the peace and beauty of Zeeland attracted us to this place. A place to really get away from it all.
B&B Zicht op Veere is a place where you can have a nice cup of coffee or a glass of tea in the garden and enjoy the songbirds and the sun.
Delicious Zeeland breakfasts can be optionally booked with the rooms in consultation with us.Hostess Lydia has a talent for making delicious breakfasts from all kinds of local produce 🙂

Veere and beyond
The beaches are only four kilometers away. The town of Veere is easily accessible on foot.
How about a walk along the clogging path from Middelburg to Veere? This runs behind our house. Or the waterway to the Veersekreek where you can enjoy beautiful boating. In the area you can also enjoy cycling past the picturesque villages with surrounding farms. And then there is the beautiful old town of Middelburg with its many attractions and rich history.
Maarten can tell you much more about the area and all the possibilities. Bicycles, canoes, etc. can all be rented in the area.

A visit to Neeltje Jans, the Delta Works or Vlissingen Boulevard. The beautiful coastal towns such as Domburg, Oostkapelle and Zoutelande. You can also get a breath of fresh air at the Westkapelle dike. In short, plenty of activities and opportunities!
